Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (tamén acurtado como Mellon Collie ou abreviado a MCIS) é un dobre CD e triplo LP que foi editado o 24 de outubro de 1995 pola banda estadounidense de rock alternativo The Smashing Pumpkins a través do selo Virgin Records. No álbum aparece unha ampla gama de estilos, así como unha maior contribución musical por parte da baixista D'arcy Wretzky e do segundo guitarrista James Iha. Foi producido polo líder do grupo Billy Corgan con Flood e Alan Moulder.

Empurrado polo sinxelo "Bullet with Butterfly Wings", o traballo estreouse no número 1 das listas da Billboard, vendendo 246.500 copias na súa primeira semana. Do álbum esditáronse cinco sinxelos máis durante 1996: "1979", "Zero", "Tonight, Tonight", o promocional "Muzzle" e "Thirty-Three". O disco foi certificado diamante pola RIAA ao vender 10 millóns de unidades.

No mes de febreiro do 2011 foi elixido polos lectores da revista Rolling Stone o noveno mellor álbum dos anos 90.

A versión do álbum en CD está dividida en dous CDs chamados Dawn to Dusk e Twilight to Starlight. A versión en casete está dividida do mesmo xeito. O triplo vinilo está dividido en seis caras: "Dawn", "Tea Time", "Dusk", "Twilight", "Midnight" e "Starlight", respectivamente. O vinilo tamén contén dúas cancións extra, e unha listaxe de cancións distinta. Os sinxelos de Mellon Collie... están recollidos na caixa The Aeroplane Flies High, a cal tamén inclúe a canción extra do vinilo "Tonite Reprise".
