Larrie Ferreiro
Larrie D. Ferreiro, nado en Long Island o 11 de xuño de 1958, é un arquitecto e historiador naval estadounidense.

Naceu e creceu en Long Island, Nova York, e ten ascendencia galega por parte de seu bisavó, un emigrante galego.[1]

Realizou o seu doutoramento no Imperial College de Londres en 2004 e estudou un mestrado en Arquitectura Naval.[2]
Actualmente é director de investigación na Defense Acquisition University en Fort Belvoir, Virxinia, e profesor adxunto de Historia na Universidade George Mason. Anteriormente traballou como arquitecto naval e enxeñeiro de sistemas na Oficina de Investigación Naval, o Naval Sea Systems Command e a Garda Costeira dos Estados Unidos, ademais de como enxeñeiro de intercambio coa Mariña Francesa.[2]
Foi finalista do Premio Pulitzer en Historia polo seu libro Brothers at Arms.[2]
