O primeiro tema do álbum, e que dá nome ó álbum, "Imaginations from the Other Side", é un canto á fantasía coma algo esquecido, e que debe ser procurado. Noutros temas, a dureza da realidade contrasta fortemente coa beldade e beatitude dos mundos de Fantasía: así "I'm alive" ("Estou Vivo"), "The Mordrered Song" ou "Bright Eyes" (Ollos Brillantes).
