Hugo Wallace Weaving, nado o 4 de abril de 1960, é un actor anglo-australiano de cine e de teatro. El é máis coñecido polo seu papel como Axente Smith na triloxía The Matrix, e de Elrond na triloxía O Señor dos Aneis.

Traxectoria editar

O seu primeiro papel importante foi na serie televisiva australiana Bodyline de 1984, como o xogador inglés de crícket Douglas Jardine. Weaving gañou fama internacional coa súa eficacia como o enigmático Axente Smith no filme de 1999 The Matrix. Máis tarde, el repetiu o papel nas secuelas do filme realizadas en 2003: The Matrix Reloaded e Matrix Revolutions.
