Therion
Therion (anteriormente Blitzkrieg e Megatherion) é unha banda sueca de metal sinfónico fundada por Christofer Johnsson en 1987. O seu nome está inspirado polo álbum de Celtic Frost To Mega Therion. "To Mega Therion" é "A Gran Besta" en grego e foi un título usado polo ocultista Aleister Crowley.[1][2] Orixinalmente unha banda de death metal, Therion axustou o seu estilo musical engadindo elementos orquestrais, incluídos coros, músicos clásicos, e incluso unha orquestra completa nos seus concertos. Como resultado son considerados pioneiros do xénero do metal sinfónico.
