Lakeshore Entertainment
Lakeshore Entertainment Group, LLC é unha empresa independente de produción de cinema estadounidense, antes tratábase de vendas e distribución internacionais,[1] fundada en 1994 por Tom Rosenberg e Ted Tannebaum,[2] ten a súa sede en Beverly Hills, en California.[3] Lakeshore produciu máis de 60 películas, incluída a Premios Óscar galardoada Million Dollar Baby.[4] Sigurjón Sighvatsson foi o primeiro presidente da compañía e exerceu de 1994 a 1998.[5] Foi substituído polo produtor Gary Lucchesi.[6] Tamén é a propietaria da independente división musical Lakeshore Records. En 2013, a compañía fundou a rama Lakeshore Television,[7] en 2015, lanzou o estudo dixital Off the Dock, dirixido ao grupo demográfico YouTube.[8] A compañía tamén ten a súa terceira sucursal Lakeshore International. En marzo de 2019, Lakeshore puxo á venda a súa filmoteca. A biblioteca inclúe 300 títulos, como a biblioteca New World Pictures (que Lakeshore adquiriu en 1996).[9] En outubro de 2019, Lakeshore vendeu a súa biblioteca e operación internacional a Vine Alternative Investments por aproximadamente 200 millóns de dólares.[10]
