A protección en serie protexe unha páxina e extende esa protección automaticamente a calquera outra páxina incluída nela, directa ou indirectamente. Isto inclúe modelos e ficheiros aloxados na Wikipedia en galego (os ficheiros aloxados en Commons non se ven afectados desta forma). A protección en serie:
