Os '''tripanosomátidos''' ('''Trypanosomatida''') son un grupo de protozoos [[cinetoplástido]]s con categoría de [[orde (bioloxía)|orde]] que se distinguen por ter un só [[flaxelo]]. O nome deriva do [[lingua grega|grego]] ''trypano'' (trade) e ''soma'' (corpo) porque as especies máis características se desprazan cun movemento de sacarrollas.
