Células HUAEC

As células HUAEC (do inglés Human umbilical artery endothelial cells ou células endoteliais de arteria umbilical humana) son células derivadas do endotelio das arterias do cordón umbilical. Estas células cultívanse e utilízanse como sistema modelo de laboratorio para o estudo da función e patoloxía de células endoteliais (por exemplo, na aterosclerose). As HUAECs teñen unha morfoloxía “pavimentosa”.[1][2][3]
